Where to find holiday markets around Baltimore this month – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) – As the holiday season approaches, holiday markets are starting to pop up all over the Baltimore area. Holiday markets are warm, fun, and give local small businesses a chance to shine.

Charm City is home to many wonderful holiday markets that bring together delicious food, gorgeous decorations, hot drinks, and tons of great gift opportunities.

Some of these markets are continuous events, while others are only overnight.

Whether you want to stroll through a winter wonderland or go holiday shopping, you may find what you are looking for in one of these holiday markets.

Christmas Village in Baltimore

Open from Nov. 20 to Dec. 24

General opening hours Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday to Saturday: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Baltimore Christmas Village is one of the country’s most iconic traditional Christmas markets, ranking among the Time Out’s “10 Best Christmas Markets”In the list of countries this year.

Inspired by traditional German Christmas markets, this festival features large German-style wooden huts, handcrafted gifts, and the smell of waffles, gingerbread, bratwurst, and mulled wine floating in the air.

The festival also offers fun rides, including the Christmas Village Carousel and the Bicentennial Square Ferris Wheel.

Severna Park Farmer’s Market Christmas Market 2021

Jones Station Road, Severna Park, MD 21146

Open December 11 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Severna Park Farmer’s Market is hosting a 2021 full-day Christmas market.

Expect wonderful baked goods, handmade craft items, delicious rubs, hot sauces, and other special treats.

Participants can pre-order from select suppliers, such as Dangerously Delicious Pies, Morris Hill Farm, The Breadery, or Wingnut Bees.

Canton holiday market

Come to Canton and support local artisans and vendors at Canton Holiday Market.

This event will be in speculation with the annual Canton Giving Day on December 11, where you are encouraged to bring in new unwrapped toys and non-perishable foods to ‘fill the place’.

Cross Street Holiday Market

Find a plethora of unique gifts and tasty food at one of the county’s oldest public markets.

The Cross Street Holiday Market will feature live music, a free photo station, an opportunity for young people to write letters to Santa Claus and more!

Metal Monday Holiday Bazaar

For those looking for something a little different, Ottobar combines its iconic Metal Monday with a traditional Holiday Bazaar.

The market will feature metal music, drink specials, a bartender dressed as Santa Claus and a variety of vendors.

Good Neighbor is hosting a Holiday Market that will bring together local members of the community to share their creative endeavors.

This pop-up store will be open for one afternoon only and will have a ton of unique products available for purchase.

Vintage christmas market

1047 St Stephens Church Road, Crownsville, Maryland 21032

Open December 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and December 18 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wildberry Farm + Market will host a two-day vintage Christmas market encouraging attendees to “shop small, buy local”.

The event will feature at least 20 unique vendors, two rotating food trucks and a consignment tent with over 30 local artists and artisans.

The event will also include a fun photoshoot, a Christmas movie shown on the projector, and other fun surprises.

Towson Town Center Christmas Market

Open from December 17 to 19, from 10 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Downtown Towson will be holding its Christmas Market at the Rotunda on Level 3.

The event will be a multi-vendor pop-up market that will feature local artisans, artisans and baked goods.

Those in attendance can also visit Santa and take photos with him on the Level 1 Great Court until December 24.

Harford County Holiday Market Extravaganza at Hartford Mall

December 18, from 10 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Harford County will host a Holiday Market Extravaganza for one day only.

Discover fun holiday music, free gifts, and other surprises while you do your Christmas shopping.

The mall will be populated by 30 local vendors.

Community tree lighting and holiday market

Join the holiday cheer with the Metro Center Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Market.

The market will feature live holiday music, singers, and free photos with Santa and his elves.

There will also be pop-up vendors and food trucks for those who want to dine.

Kids will enjoy warming up with hot chocolate and smores, visiting the cartoonist on sight, and seeing the tree light up.
