Tom Ellis and Lauren German tease the main changes of Lucifer season 6

Lucifer fans were over the moon when this was revealed they would get a final season of the hit series.

Now show star Tom Ellis has revealed this fans can look forward to season six onwards, and admitted that he had “made peace” with the end of the series after season five.

“We thought season 5 was the end, so in a way, mentally, I kind of made my peace with the fact that we’ve come full circle with this story,” shared the actor, who plays the main role.

But he then revealed that the showrunners were able to “break it down” and found “somewhere we’ve never been before, especially playing the character of Lucifer”.

Lucifer bosses confirmed the show will return for an additional season – and finale – with a tweet in June that read, “The devil made us do it. #Lucifer will be returning for a sixth and final season. Like, FINAL finale.”

The plot of season six remains under wraps for now, but showrunners Joe Henderson and Idly Modrovich revealed that having additional episodes gave them the opportunity to “really explore how our characters end up where they found each other “.
