The Bolzano Film Festival Bozen will take place in German and Italian

– The 35th edition of the festival will take place from April 5 to 10 and will offer 8 feature films and 8 documentaries from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as a focus on Albania and Kosovo

“After two difficult years, we were able to guarantee a physical edition of the festival, with many guests accompanying their films and attending conferences. We have also decided to offer an online program of some of our films at the end of the festival”. This is how the director of Bolzano Film FestivalBozen Helen Christelle introduced on 35and edition of the festival, which will take place from April 5 to 10 in various locations in Bolzano as well as in Merano Bressanone and Caldaro.

The program is “characterised by multiple works by young directors,” adds Christanell. “The feature films in competition deal with the family and the role of the mother; this year’s documentaries, by contrast, focus on the political perspectives of humanitarian emergencies and investigative journalism”. The Prize of the Province of Bolzano for the best film among the eight in competition, will be awarded by a jury composed of actresses Eleanor Daniel, scriptwriter Claudia Landsberger and director Corrado Ravazzini.
