World Cup winner Paul Pogba has sensationally refused to sign a Manchester United shirt after being greeted by fans over the weekend ahead of his medical with Juventus.

The French midfielder is among a list of players who are expected to complete their transfers shortly, with Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling also expected to undergo a medical with Chelsea after agreeing personal terms.

Chelsea and PSG would also join the race for Robert Lewandowski, who is arguably the best player in the world, should a move to Barcelona fail.

The footballing world is also talking about Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy, who apparently has a number of clubs chasing his signature.

Paul Pogba rose to football fame during a successful four-year spell at Juventus before signing for Manchester United in 2016.

The midfielder proclaimed he would “come home” after returning to the Red Devils for what was at the time a world record A$151.76 million.

But after six seasons at the club, the 29-year-old appears keen on returning to Italy after arriving in Turin at the weekend.

Pogba was greeted by fans and signed autographs for many, but he appeared to wince when asked to sign the famous red jersey.

The Daily Mail rreported that the France international completed his medical on Saturday ahead of the free transfer.

Chelsea fans have been eagerly awaiting the official announcement that England international Raheem Sterling has signed for the club, and that news doesn’t seem too far off.

Sterling looks set to leave Manchester City after winning four Premier League titles with the club.

Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is apparently being chased by two other footballing giants after expressing his desire to leave the German champions.

The daily mail said Chelsea and PSG would enter the race to sign one of the biggest names in world football if a move to Barcelona fails.

The striker has expressed his desire to move to Camp Nou in Barcelona.

Christian Eriksen would become Manchester United’s second signing under new manager Erik ten Hag, with the Denmark international due to undergo a medical.

Socceroos international Aaron Mooy shouldn’t have too many problems finding a new club with his manager revealing he has ‘lots of interest around the world’.

But Mooy could end up reuniting with former Australian manager Ange Postecoglou with Scottish champions Celtic.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Glasgow after leaving Chinese Super League side Shanghai Port FC.

Mooy is said to have a choice of clubs though, with his agent Josh Barnett providing the Australian media with an exciting update on the player from Huddersfield Town and Brighton.

“There’s a lot of interest around the world in Aaron and we’re evaluating all options,” Barnett said. told

Massimo Luongo is on trial with Championship side Reading after leaving Sheffield on Wednesday under bizarre circumstances.

The 2015 AFC Asian Cup Player of the Tournament left Sheffield on Wednesday after the club announced he was one of three players to have ‘turned down new contract offers’.

Luongo responded on social media saying “Have I?” and has since left the club.

The Reading Chronicle said Luongo is among the players currently on trial with the former Premier League
