Quentin Tarantino collapsed while describing a comedic western he wants to make

Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino created iconic cinematic moments that influenced pop culture. Critics and audiences alike praised the film. Tarantino later explained that his tenth film will be his last film before his retirement. Quentin Tarantino laughed at explaining a western comedy he’d like to do

Variety reported on Tarantino’s responses to questions after winning a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Rome Film Festival. The filmmaker mentioned that he has an idea he’d like to make, although it probably won’t be his next film.

“It’s not like my next movie,” Tarantino said. “It’s a piece of something else that I think I’m doing – and I’m not going to describe what it is. But part of that thing, there’s supposed to be a spaghetti western in it. “

Tarantino teased the concept again, which ended up cracking him up at the mere mention of his idea.

“I can’t wait to shoot this [thing] because it’s gonna be really fun, ”Tarantino said. “Because I want to shoot it in the Spaghetti Western style where everyone speaks a different language.” He burst out laughing after making this statement.

Tarantino continued, “The Mexican Bandido is an Italian; the hero is American; the bad sheriff is a German; the Mexican saloon girl is Israeli. And everyone speaks a different language. And you [the actors] just know: OK, when he’s done talking, I can talk. “

The western genre is rarely explored in modern mainstream cinema

The western genre is vast. It has a wide variety of subgenres which have been explored in various mediums over time. However, it is certainly not one of the most popular genres in modern mainstream cinema. However, titles such as True courage, The ghost, and Bone tomahawk have an engaged audience. A few of them have even caught the eye of the grand prix.

It is clear that the filmmaker is interested in pursuing the genre further.
