Lone Star College-University Park Drama Department to Present Drive-Through Production “Working Title”

The drama department at Lone Star College-University Park is gearing up for a show that even the department itself won’t have seen until it premieres on December 3.

“Working Title” will premiere as a drive-in film on December 3 outside the LSC-UP EMI building at 7:30 p.m., featuring performances based on the cast’s ideas and experiences, filmed separately and fitted together, according to a college press release.

“We always like to challenge ourselves to pursue new frontiers,” said Will Grayson, drama professor and theater director at LSC-University Park, in the press release. “It seemed like the best next step after Zoom’s performance in the spring and builds on the high caliber of the radio show presented last Christmas.”

With 17 cast members, the show is meant to be experimental.

“I want people to feel what we have to say, to feel our emotions through our acting and to connect with us,” said Gregory Duroncelay III, drama student at LSC-University Park. “All the other productions were a play that was already written, but it’s a film that we create together as a team. From the words you hear to the acting that you will see; it will be a great experience.
