Kourtney, who recently tied the knot with Travis Barker, was talking to her friend Stephanie Shepherd over lunch about how filming has been for the new show.

Explaining that they were having “the best time of their lives”, Kourtney said they were “annoyed” by some of the edits because they felt like they were “swirled around in the drama” surrounding her ex, Scott Disick.
Speaking about their engagement episode, she said, “Editors or whoever takes it, let’s take Kourtney as the chosen one to be the drama.”
She then added to the cameras, “We’re all executive producers, so we get to see cuts of the show and give episode notes and make sure our stories are told.
“I’m in one of the best places I’ve been in my life and it’s time for our show to catch up.”
Speaking of a conversation with her sisters, during which Kendall asked Kourtney at her engagement party if she “had any sympathy for Scott,” Kourtney added, “I didn’t even remember that until I having seen the cut of the episode.
“It allows that old narrative and buys into something that doesn’t really exist. It should be an uplifting episode about me sort of having toxic relationships and having this fairy tale love affair that is my reality.
“I wish they would take that down and put it in the next episode and give us our respect…let us have our moment.”
In response, Steph added: “That story for you is that you were in a relationship as *** and now you are in a great relationship. You have to focus on the big one.
“If I was someone watching the show, I would obviously ask the same questions like ‘what is Scott going to say? I understand that’s a normal thought.
“But I think we were talking, out of respect for Travis and for you to get out of this place in your life, I don’t want to go back on this story anymore.”
Kourtney added, “Everything is fine. We have been separated for seven years. I have the right to create new memories and new ways of doing things.
Throughout the season, Scott, who shares three children with Kourtney — Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven — accused some Kardashians of “ruling him out” from family events due to the relationship between Kourtney and Travis.
Kourtney, meanwhile, has since married Travis, with the couple celebrating their third ceremony last month in Italy.
