Beloved Australian Olympian Ian Thorpe shared the first look at his feature which is set to star none other than At home and away favorite, Jake Ryan.

Ian shared the trailer for the film, Streamline, on his Instagram which was filmed and completed last year.
âStreamline is a project of which I am very proud. This is my first film as an EP, ârevealed Ian.
âWe had an incredible cast and crew and I thank them for their commitment and talents.
âStreamline will be premiering at @melbfilmfest which is a privilege in itself and should then be (ð¤) at most international film festivals around the world! âºï¸ðð. â
The film’s synopsis reads: “A prodigious 15-year-old swimmer Benjamin self-destructs after his father is released from prison.”
Summer Bay star Jake Ryan, who played Robbo on the soap opera, is looking to play the older, rough brother of the main character, Ben.
Jake also shared the clip on his Instagram, writing, “I had a dream of being on an Olympic team with the Thorpedoâ¦ Failâ¦ Made a movie with him insteadâ¦ silver lining.”
Jacques is gone At home and away in 2019 with its last episodes airing in early 2020 when his character Robbo was tragically killed in a car crash.
The 37-year-old, who had been part of Summer Bay since 2017, said WEEK TV after his release he was ready for the next chapter of his life.
âIt’s sad to leave but my time was up there,â he told the publication.
“They did such a great script with Robbo and there wasn’t much else to do with him. You want to go out great while you can.”
Jake added that his character’s ending – a tragic death after a dramatic car crash – was all he had hoped for.
