Seaside Heights announced its very first Halloween Fest on October 22-23. The event will take place on the promenade (or “Boo-walk”) and at the “Petrified Pavilion of the Carrousel”.
Mayor Anthony Vaz said: “We are delighted to present this year a family friendly Halloween event for everyone to enjoy. We will continue to bring more events to Seaside Heights year round! Keep an eye out for some exciting additions over the Christmas period! “
From the event website: Visit the vendors on the promenade as you dance to the music of monster mash! The traveling magicians will mystify you with their skill and you never know which spooky characters are lurking around you!
Highlights of the event include the tunnel of terror that leads to the Ecto 1, the vehicle from the upcoming “Ghostbusters Afterlife” movie. Inside the pavilion, enjoy spooky makeup lessons, cartoons, and photo ops with the Ghostbusters vehicle. Shop from vendors for toys, comics and more. Popcorn, candy and food will be available for sale.
Tickets cost $ 5 and are required for ages 5 and up. All tickets must be purchased online. No tickets will be sold on site. Tickets are hourly specific as there is capacity for the pavilion. The time must be selected.
Seaside Heights Halloween Fest takes place Friday, October 22 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, October 23 from noon to 10 p.m. Visit exit82.com to purchase tickets and for more details.
All proceeds will go to the Seaside Heights Historical Museum and Resilient Minds On The Front Lines, two 501c3 nonprofits.
