Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar met on reality TV sets I can do it. While he was the host of this show, she was a contestant. And the rest, of course, is history. So it seems to be the reality show that played Cupid for the couple. Soon, rumors swirled that the duo were seeing each other.

The duo made their relationship Instagram official in 2018. Shibani had shared a photo of herself and Farhan. While the actor’s face was not visible, he shared the photo on his social media.

The first time they made their public appearance as a couple, fans went gaga over it. They walked hand-in-hand at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception in Mumbai in 2018.

Whether it’s going on vacation together or supporting each other, Farhan and Shibani are pure couple goals. Shibani even got Farhan’s name tattooed on her neck.

Farhan was previously married to Adhuna Bhabani. They officially divorced in 2017. The couple have two daughters – Shakya and Akira.


Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar will marry according to Maharashtrian traditions and a reception has been planned by the couple for their friends in the industry. The guest list for their wedding includes Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani and Rhea Chakraborty.

The duo had their mehendi ceremony yesterday, while today, February 18, was their sangeet ceremony.
