Alison Brie’s 10 Best Film & TV Performances, Ranked Alison Brie’s 10 Best Film & TV Performances, Ranked

Alison Brie is hands down one of my favorite actresses who has exploded over the past decade. Not only is she extremely talented in dramatic and comedic roles, but her acting skills are also excellent. Since his time Community to the Netflix series, GLOW, Brie has shown that she is here to stay in Hollywood.

But what are its best performances? Which is the best ultimate? These are the Alison Brie movies and TV shows with her best work, and how you can watch them right now.

10. The five-year engagement (Suzie Barnes-Eilhauer)

The five-year commitment, with Jason Segal and Emily blunt, tells the story of a couple whose relationship grows strained over time as their engagement continues.

I’m always a fan of a good romantic comedy, and Alison Brie is definitely Suzie Eilhauer in The five-year commitment. The only reason I ranked it at number ten is because it just doesn’t stand out as much as the other characters on this list, but it’s still a great performance and a fun movie that everyone would enjoy. Emily Blunt and Jason Segal have excellent chemistry, as do Alison Brie and Chris Pratt in their supporting roles.

Alison Brie and Mackenzie Davis in the happiest season.

9. The Happiest Season (Sloane Caldwell)

Best season, featuring Kristen stewart and Mackenzie Davis, about a woman who struggles to date her conservative parents over Christmas when she decides to go home with her girlfriend.

Alison Brie plays Sloane, Harper’s older sister (Mackenzie Davis), and she and Davis together have some awesome scenes that really set her apart from the crowd. The rest of the The happiest season the actors also work so well together, and it’s filled with stars like Dan Levy, Aubrey Plaza, Jake McDorman, and more. Christmas Movies are still among my favorites to watch, and this one is definitely a modern tale that puts a smile on my face. It’s a heartwarming story with a lot of comedy, drama, and Christmas cheer in between.

Alison Brie voices Princess Unikitty in The Lego Movie.

8. The Lego movie (Princess Unikitty)

In The Lego movie, we follow Emmet, an ordinary Lego minifigure who ends up joining a resistance movement to stop a tyrannical businessman from taking over the Lego world and sticking everything into his vision of perfection.

Alison Brie voices Princess Unikitty, and let me just say – she’s amazing. Brie gives Princess Unikitty the perfect kind of chaos and cuteness that a character like her needs, and which can only come to life through her wonderful acting skills. I think another of her voice roles is slightly better than this one, but Lego movie definitely gave her some terrific material to work with, alongside her wacky, yet sweet story.

7. Sleeping with other people (Elaine “Lainey” Dalton)

In this 2015 film, Sleeping with other people is all about two college students who both lose their virginity one night and only see each other years later, now having their own personal issues as they deal with relationships and life.

In one of her first leading film roles, Alison Brie thrills Sleeping with other people like Lainey, and his chemistry with Jason Sudeikis flows so perfectly, I wonder why they haven’t been in other movies together. Their relationship is so easy to believe from start to finish, mixed with awfully funny moments that add a certain charm to the way they work. It’s a smaller movie than many of the others here, but deserves so much more praise. Seriously, check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.

Alison Brie in GLOW.

6. GLOW (Ruth Wilder)

In this Netflix original series, GLOW follows the fictionalization of real people and 1980s history during the unionized women’s professional wrestling circuit known as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (otherwise known as GLOW).

GLOW is one of those series that deserved so much more recognition and was canceled far too early. Alison Brie starred in this Netflix hit and showed us just how remarkable she is as a prominent woman. Not only is her character, Ruth, full of courage and has an interesting story, but everyone around her shines as well. It’s a shame GLOW was canceled on Netflix due to COVID-19 issues, but at least we still have all three seasons to watch whenever we want on Netflix. Maybe one day they will come back to it.

5. Cavalier BoJack (Diane Nguyen)

Take a look at another Netflix original, BoJack Cavalier is all about the main character, BoJack Horseman, someone who was once hugely popular in his heyday, and now barely an oblivion in the memory of others. He plans to make a comeback by writing his revealing autobiography, with the help of a ghost writer.

Alison Brie voices Diane Nguyen, the ghost writer who works for BoJack, and let me say – I love her in this series. While Alison Brie was able to bring that manic energy to Princess Unikitty in The Lego movie, Diane stands out all the more for her best dubbing role. Diane’s story in BoJack Cavalier is heartbreaking and raw and will tear anyone apart a bit, and her relationship with BoJack is hands down one of the best on the show. He’s a complex character, through and through, and Brie’s voice makes Diane even better.

4. The Post Office (Lally Weymouth)

In this film based on a true story, The post office tells the story of journalists who worked at the Washington Post, and their endless attempts to try to publish the infamous Pentagon Papers, a collection of documents which concerned the 20-year involvement of the United States government in the Vietnam War, and even earlier in French Indochina.

While Alison Brie is always brilliant in her comedic roles, there is something about The post office this really makes it one of his best performances. While her role isn’t as big as some of the other cast members here – with Meryl Streep and Tom hanks as the main stars – she is one of the stars and plays Lally Graham, a former reporter for the Washington Post, alongside her co-stars.

3. Mad Men (Trudy Campbell)

crazy man was a popular AMC series that starred Jon Hamm as Don Draper, an executive at an advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, hence the term “mad men” in the 1960s. It follows his ups and downs. his lows, and the trials and tribulations of working in the advertising industry at the time, and the people around him.

This is arguably one of the performances that made Alison Brie famous. While she was just a recurring character in the Mad Men to throw, her role as Pete Campbell’s wife stands out, creating excellent tension between the two of them and a story no one can look away from. She really shines in this dramatic role.

2. Promising Young Woman (Madison McPhee)

In this popular thriller, Promising young woman stars Carey Mulligan, who plays a young woman haunted by a traumatic past, and takes on revenge on the men who have committed horrific atrocities.

Alison Brie plays Madison, one of the many women and men that Mulligan’s character meets. I’ve said before how much I love watching Brie in dramatic roles, but I feel like she puts it on strong Promising young women. Her role as Madison is performed perfectly, especially in her scenes with Cassie, played by Mulligan. In addition, the story is prominent in Promising young women. If you like thrillers, you are going to be on the edge of your seat all the time. It’s such a fun movie to watch, filled with awesome stars, and Alison Brie just adds to that stardom.

Alison Brie as Annie in the Community.

This comedy created by Dan Harmon, Community, follows Jeff Winger, a former lawyer who tampered with his diploma, and now has to return to community college to try and become a real lawyer. While there, he meets an interesting group of friends, all made up of extremely different individuals.

You knew it was going to happen. We all knew Community would be number one. While Mad Men showcased Alison Brie’s acting talents in spectacular fashion, Community is what shot her to stardom with how awesome she was with comedy. Her portrayal of Annie Edison, the studious classmate, is unforgettable. The totality Community to throw is full of stars, but Alison Brie as Annie works perfectly. Her comedic timing, heartwarming stories, and genuine friendships and relationships with each of the characters created a wonderfully sweet character, which is why this is Alison Brie’s best performance yet – hope we can all see her. again in a possible Community movie.

Stream the community on Netflix.
